About the academy
A name carried with care
Al Baari Quran Academy is named in honour of Abdul Baari. The name is a responsibility: to teach the Book of Allah with sincerity, care and discipline, and to make that teaching available to students wherever they live.
Our purpose is simple. We help children and adults learn to read the Qur'an correctly, recite it beautifully, and memorise it with lasting retention, through structured one-to-one lessons taught online in English.
Every student has their own teacher and their own pace. Lessons follow a clear sequence, progress is recorded, and families are kept informed.
Teaching standards
How we select teachers
We are building our teaching team carefully. A teacher is only matched with a student after demonstrating each of these standards.
Quran and Tajweed
Accurate, fluent recitation and a sound grasp of the rules of Tajweed.
Teaching ability
The ability to explain clearly, especially to the age group they will teach.
Communication
Clear English and patience with beginners and with parents.
Reliability
Punctual, prepared and consistent in recording progress after lessons.
