FAQ

Questions about our classes

How do online one-to-one classes work?

Classes are live video lessons between one student and one teacher at an agreed time. The teacher follows the text with the student, corrects recitation in the moment and records progress after each lesson.

Which programmes do you offer?

Quran Reading (including Nooraniyah / Qaida), Tajweed, Hifz (memorisation) and Islamic Studies. Each is taught one-to-one and paced around the student.

How long are lessons and how often are they held?

Depending on the plan, students take 2, 3 or 5 lessons a week of 30 or 45 minutes. Starter is 2 × 30 min, Standard 3 × 30 min, Premium 5 × 30 min, Intensive 5 × 45 min and Hifz 5 × 45 min per week.

How does enrolment work?

Complete the enrolment form with the student's details, programme, preferred plan and available times. We contact you by WhatsApp or email to confirm the plan, schedule and payment details. Lessons begin once enrolment and payment are confirmed.

How are class schedules arranged?

We agree a regular weekly timetable with you based on the times you give in your enrolment form and teacher availability. Changes are arranged with the academy in advance.

What about time-zone differences?

We teach students around the world. Please give your city or time zone on the enrolment form, and every lesson time we confirm will be stated in your local time.

How are payments handled?

Plans are paid monthly in USD. After your enrolment is reviewed, we send you payment instructions directly. Lessons are scheduled once payment is received. We never ask for card details by WhatsApp or email.

What are the cancellation and rescheduling rules?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a lesson. Full details are in our Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.

Are there family discounts?

Yes. Two students from one family receive 10% off each plan, three receive 15% off, and families of four or more can ask for family pricing.

How is learning progress monitored?

Teachers record attendance and progress after lessons. Hifz students' progress is tracked juz by juz using sabaq, sabqi and manzil, and Standard plans and above include a monthly report.

What do I need technically?

A stable internet connection, a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone, headphones if possible, and a quiet space. A copy of the Quran or Qaida helps.

How do you protect privacy and student safety?

We collect only the information needed to teach, keep it confidential, and expect a parent or guardian to be available nearby for lessons with children. See our Safeguarding and Privacy policies.

What language are lessons taught in?

All explanations are in English. The Quran itself is read and recited in Arabic.
